Our story

A love story between two cultures. Iceland and Oaxaca. So different, yet so alike. Craftsmanship, unforgiving nature, rituals and elemental living. After the founders fell in love with the complex and addictive heat of the mezcal they simply had to combine it with a piece of home, the Icelandic glacial water.

The mezcal

Our additive-free mezcal comes from santiago matatlán, Oaxaca, where mezcal has been made for generations. Our espadín is crafted by maestro mezcalero Juan Morales, a fourth-generation producer with 40 years behind the craft. A little smoke. A lot of heart. Made for the night.

The water

From Iceland’s blue mountains, VÖK spring water spends thousands of years filtering naturally through layers of volcanic bedrock. Soft, clean and naturally alkaline at pH 8.8. We bring it across the Atlantic because water matters. Especially after dark.
